Randy has more than two decades of experience in the financial services industry. Before joining BB&T Scott & Stringfellow, he began his career at Prudential Securities in New York, and then spent 14 years with Wachovia Securities in Charlotte and Columbia.
Randy provides value to his clients by offering objective advice customized to their specific needs. With a service-centered, hands-on business model, Randy believes in walking each client through every step of the investment process.
Keeping long-term relationships in mind, Randy offers a disciplined approach to asset management to help create peace of mind.
Randy earned his bachelor’s degree in economics from Wofford College in 1982, and soon thereafter began to work in the banking industry.

Randy has been involved with several organizations in Columbia, especially Family Connections of S.C., a non-profit organization that works with autistic and down syndrome children and their families.
Randy and his family are members of Eastminster Presbyterian Church, where they are actively involved with several programs.
Randy grew up in Spartanburg, and attended Spartanburg High School prior to graduating from Wofford College. He and his wife, Kelley, are proud parents of two children.
Their son, Kent, is a sophomore at Wofford College and their daughter, Kate, is a ninth grader at Cardinal Newman School.
